“Starting from my own personal experience of depression, as well from the experience of some other wonderful people that I interviewed, “In Between Two Pills” is a multimedia theatrical play that talks about depression as seen (or hidden) in Bucharest, Romania, in 2016. The show combines dramatizations of real stories with excerpts from interviews, with moments shot and lived my myself in the hospital and experimental multimedia technologies: 3D captures, motion-tracking and real time interactivity, transported into augmented reality and used for the first time in a theatre performance in Romania” – Cinty Ionescu
The documentation behind this performance gathers an archive of approximately 80 hours of interviews, which were structured in an interactive online documentary called Fața ascunsă / The Hidden Face available on http://www.fataascunsa.ro/
In Between Two Pills was played within the One World Romania documentary film festival in 2016.
In the 2017-2018 season it has been a part of the Performative Arts Program of the National Contemporary Art Museum – MNAC Bucharest.
In 2018 was performed in the Deep Space 8K at Ars Electronica Center.
