The Fall – 1st workshop presentation

1st workshop presentation of The Fall – Berlin Wall Project

A multi-media theater performance piece devised by a group of international artists, The Fall  examines and uncovers the world’s relationship to the moment of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the end of the Cold War as we approach it’s 25th anniversary in 2014. Immortalized in the minds of those who witnessed it, the piece asks: what is our relationship to that moment today, as we approach its 25th anniversary?  What is the relationship of the fall of the Berlin Wall to the Arab Spring or the Occupy movement? What does that moment mean today when the US owes China, a communist state, over two trillion dollars?

The ensemble and creative team for The Fall  currently includes 6 actors, dancers and musicians, a dramaturg and a production design team. This ensemble has begun devising an original multimedia movement theater piece inspired by various written, oral and physical prompts.
